BOUQUET
Rich, attractive aromas of blackcurrant fruit, cassis berry and well integrated delicate oak contributing vanillin and cedar nuances. Expect to see some cigar box characters with age.
PALATE
The 2010 Cartel Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon has abundant ripe cassis berry and minty leaf characters that are well integrated with fine vanillin oak notes. Firm velvety tannins give length and structure creating a wonderful lingering mouthfeel. This wine can be enjoyed now, but will also reward extended cellaring.
